Nutrition

Over the last couple months I have had a handful of questions regarding nutrition. Thus, I thought to create this page to  document and share my weekly meal plans. I am not expressing that I am a nutritionist at all, just expressing what seems to work for myself in keeping healthy and strong for my active lifestyle and training schedules. Once again, I will update this page regular with my evolving diets and increased knowledge based upon nutrition to try assist others if need.

Current Meal Plan when Bulking

Breakfast

Lunch

Dinner

If I am snackish, then a banana, plum, yoghurt and muesli bar. If I am hungry then two-three fried eggs will accompany this.

A filled bowl of marinated chicken, avocado and cottage cheese. I will usually drizzle honey on top which satisfies the sweet tooth cravings I experience. If I am still hungry throughout the day then I will try snack on tomatoes or other pieces of fruit and/or vegetables; pineapple being my fav!

Most of the time a porterhouse and/or scotch fillet steak with pan fried mushrooms and freshly cut beetroot to the side. I will usually drizzle balsamic glaze on top and fetta cheese.  Dessert usually includes a Pauls low fat chocolate mousse.

Current Meal Plan when Cutting

Breakfast

Lunch

Dinner

During a cutting phase, I will try minimalise breakfast if possible by just sticking to my snacks previously mentioned above or reduce my portion sizes.

This meal usually includes a quarter roast chicken (i.e., from woolies and/or coles etc.,) with salad, usually just a mixed iceberg or 4 leafy lettuce mix. I will drizzle vinegar on top which gives it additionally flavor. If I am still snackish then I will try eat apples, grapes and watermelon.

The final meal of the day if possible I will also try reduce my portion size. Within the meal itself it entails pan fried lean beef mince with mild taco and tomato paste seasoning with freshly cut tomatoes on the side. If I am feeling cheeky I will add sour cream to the mix which just feels me up a little more.
